Can a shower fit where your bath is?
Often, the existing bath position is a useful starting point for a larger shower. The survey checks the available footprint, waste route, floor condition and water supply before we recommend a tray, screen or controls. Keeping the shower in the same position can reduce changes, but it does not guarantee that the existing plumbing can stay untouched.

What does a bath-to-shower conversion include?
We agree the removal of the bath, plumbing changes, wall and floor preparation, shower tray or wet-room construction, screen and fittings in your written quotation. Replacing a bath often exposes unfinished surfaces, so the quote should explain how those areas will be made good. You can also update the WC, basin, storage and lighting as part of a complete renovation.

Low threshold or level access?
A low-profile tray can make entry easier, but it still has an edge. A fully level shower needs suitable drainage and floor construction. We assess the practical options in your home and explain any remaining step before you choose. If seating, grab rails or space for assistance matters, include those needs at the design appointment.

What affects the conversion cost?
The main factors are shower size, drainage changes, the condition beneath the bath and how much wall and floor finish needs replacing. Screen design, shower controls and additional furniture also affect the price. Ask for a complete installed quote, including waste removal and making good, rather than comparing the shower tray alone.

Potentially, if their condition and position suit the new layout. The quotation will identify what stays and what is replaced.
Will I lose all bathing space?+
This conversion removes the bath in the room being changed. If keeping a bath matters to your household, compare an over-bath shower or retain a bath in another bathroom.
How long will the conversion take?+
The sequence depends on preparation, drainage and finishes. Agree the fitting dates and access to a working toilet before installation begins.
